Dawid Jakubowicz
Supervisory Board Member
Dawid is a finance expert with international operating experience in building value of companies across the chemical, mining, energy, automotive, and new technologies sectors.
He has been with Kulczyk Investments since 2010, overseeing the global investment portfolio. Dawid handles all the steps in the investment process, from analyzing acquisition objectives and overseeing the acquisition, through operational running of the company and ultimately completing and exiting the investment. His focus is formulating and executing goodwill creation strategy, and primarily increasing the return on investment for owners, accounting for the present and prospective market climate and financing sources and structures available.
From 2018-2023, he served as President of the Management Board at Qemetica (ex CIECH) – an EU-based chemicals group listed on two securities exchanges and employing more than 3 800 people. The group has nine plants and six business areas, such as soda, salt, plant protection products, glass and silicates, and polyurethane foams. Over the course of Dawid’s term as President of the Management Board, the company successfully employed strategies that helped to achieve a significant increase in generated cash flow. Due to a steady management approach and focus on operational efficiency, and creating a performance-based and Team-oriented corporate culture, Qemetica (ex CIECH) achieved record financial results in 2022.
Dawid worked at the international company KPMG Audyt, where he was responsible for auditing individual and consolidated financial statements for firms in a variety of sectors.
In 2014, he became a chartered accountant registered with the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors. Dawid completed the Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School, Boston, and holds an MBA from Georgia State University and the Poznań University of Economics and Business. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the Poznań University of Economics and Business.
Michał Krawczyk
Supervisory Board Member
Michal serves as Group Tax Director, overseeing all tax-related matters across the Kulczyk Investments Group. He has more than 20 years of experience in international taxation, with a strong focus on both the Luxembourg and Polish markets.
Prior to joining the KI Group, Michal advised corporate and non-corporate clients on a broad range of tax issues, dedicating big part of last 13 years to Luxembourg’s private equity and investment fund sectors. He has played a key role in numerous fund structuring initiatives involving both regulated and unregulated Luxembourg vehicles. His supported key players in various acquisitions, divestments, and restructurings across various asset classes including numerous real estate transactions. A certified Polish tax advisor, Michal holds master’s degrees from the Warsaw School of Economics, Poland and Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
